On 12 | February | 2026, the Capuchin Province of Tanzania gathered for its ordinary Chapter. Appart from the discussions regarding the work and the life of the brothers in Tanzania, the Provincial chapter elected its new Council for the next 3 years. The current Council is as follows: Fr Rogerio Massawe (Provincial-reelected), VP: fr. Kamilus Bajuta; 2C: fr. Gastor Kateule 3C; fr. Marino Msigala; 4C fr. Fidelis Mwangónda.
The Chapter was held at Mbagala Spiritual Center, in Dar es Salaam and was presided over by Fr. Gebrewold Gebretsadik Dage, General Councillor of the Capuchin Order. We wish the new Council a fruitfull mission at the service of the Order.
