«Good evening Brothers.We thank you for your prayers and support towards the success of our 9th Ordinary Chapter». With these words the friars in Zimbabwe were announcing the completion of their Chapter held at Matsheumhlope (Matabeleland North) Zimbabwe on 11 | February | 2025. The Chapter saw the return of Br. Herbert Banda as new Custos, after having served the Order in Zimbabwe some years ago.
He will be helped by Br. Tatenda Anthon Shumba (1C) and fr. Wellington Manjonjo (2C). The Chapter was presided over by fr. Arockiadoss Savurimuthu, Provincial Minister of Tamil Nadu Sud, the mother Province of the St. Padre Pio Custody of Zimbabwe. We wish them well in their ministry of service to the brothers.
